The Nissan Junior is a series of light-duty commercial trucks manufactured by Nissan Motor Company. In 1980, the Nissan Junior was available in various body configurations, ranging from a two-door cab-only model to a four-door crew cab. It was powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four gasoline engine or a 2.7-liter inline-four diesel engine, both mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The truck had a payload capacity of up to 2.2 tons and a maximum speed of approximately 100 km/h. The Nissan Junior was popular in Japan and other Asian markets for its durability and reliability.
